Quote Block
Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, was born on November 30, 1835. He was an accomplished writer, among other things, and is responsible for bringing us classic characters such as Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
To celebrate, a humorous quote by Mark Twain is hidden in the block below. To reveal it, you must cross out two letters in each of the block’s 49 boxes. Each ACROSS and DOWN clue leads to a seven-letter answer. The clues are given in random order, so it’s up to you to find the correct row or column for each answer, which will appear one letter to a box, reading across or down. When the letters of all 14 clue answers have been crossed out, the quote will remain, reading left to right and top to bottom.
